Quote of the day:

“If we make conscious robots they would want to have rights and they probably should,”

Wide-Eyed and Mystified

Here is something I’m looking forward to…Actually, I’ve been looking forward to it sense 2004 when the face-melting groves of Downhere graced my drums. They are one of those bands that make you wonder, “why are they not the world’s marvel?” They are a true testament, a band for the ages, and proof that Canadians can do anything they put their minds too.

I longed for more songs to put my bones to dancing the true beat. When their new album came out, I couldn’t afford it, despite having a humongous Potential Y. Then, God not sparing any good gift, let the music club BMG fall prey to hawks with a public class action. Seeing the injustice the feeble field mouse committed against me I joined the hunt. Their crime? Deceptive shipping and handling costs. Their punishment, send me three CDs at 80% off AND here is the kicker, no shipping and handling.

Needless to say, I am lad someone stood up for my rights. In transit is the much anticipated Downhere CD and two others which I forget what they are.

I want to thank Downhere, BMG Music Club for screwing me over without my knowledge, and the public Avatar fighting for my rights. Rock on! Hawk on!

Does this blog meet basic life expression?

Just testing things out. Want to see if this new open source blog app, is suitable for expressing the complexities of my life.

Does it captures the exhilaration of that first step?

Does it capture the tears of hitting that telephone pole when I was learning to ride a bike?

Does it capture the blood-rushing-to-my-face embarrassment of…well, I won’t go into that.

We shall see how this Blog-o-rific experience captures my life…
